Revised plan for assessment and reporting 2024/2025
November
- All year groups will be assessed during a one-week assessment block, (3rd Monday of November). Normal timetabled classes will be suspended.
- There will be 3 exam slots per day
- Feedback will be inputted on the Tyro app and open to parents 3 weeks after the end of the exam period.
- Normal classes will continue with teaching and learning up to the final day of term before Christmas.
February
- Mock examination for 3rd and 6th years. Feedback on Mock examinations for 3rd and 6th years will be open for parents on the second Friday back after February midterm.
- Extended formative feedback based on each student's assessments and performance from late November to February will be reported for all other years. This will be reported to parent(s)/guardian(s) on the Tyro app by the St. Patrick’s break.
Summer
- 1st, 2nd, 5th year students and Leaving Certificate Applied Year 1 candidates will be assessed.
- Feedback will be provided on the Tyro app which will be open to parent(s)/guardian(s) on the 2nd Wednesday in June.
- 3rd and 6th year students and Transition Year students will finish school at appropriate dates.
